- Supervise, train, and develop a skilled maintenance team
- Promote a safe and motivating work environment
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and company standards in all maintenance activities
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Keep maintenance documentation up to date
- Produce regular reports on performance and key indicators (KPIs)
- Manage, analyze, and present the maintenance budget
- Identify and implement initiatives to reduce operational costs
- Proactively improve process operations and seek to increase efficiency
- Manage investment and improvement projects at the plant level in collaboration with project managers
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or other relevant education/experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience as a manager supervising a team, including unionized employees
- Proven experience in team management and maintenance planning
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and SAP Production Management software or equivalent (PM)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills
- Ability to act as a change agent
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Bilingual in French and English
