- Responsible for the growth of the trade he/she is oversees.
- Create strategies, build projects and initiatives that support the growth and direction/long term objective.
- Understand market to provide accurate analysis and forecasting (short and long term), using supporting internal systems, which will assist in delivering required targets and KPI’s.
- Accountable for relationships internally and externally, via regular dialog /communication that is clear and concise via needed channels (email/telephone/meetings).
- Attend required business functions, to promote and represent the commercial team of MSC Canada and further build our market presence within the Canadian market.
- Individual must be organized, decisive, ability to prioritize and adapt/ be flexible in a constantly changing market.
- Possess a strong analytical and strategic mind, with an abstract view/approach.
- Demonstrates well-developed negotiation and interpersonal skills, leading and driving collaboration between the needed stakeholders.
- Completed Bachelors.
- Previous experience within the transportation/shipping industry (5+ years preferred).
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Canadian Agri supply chain (asset).
- Previous oversight of sizeable commercial scope in revenue.
- Advanced Excel and a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
