Salary: $22 per hour
Job Type: 7-month contract to start with a potential for extensionWe are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and professional Mailroom Coordinator, Workplace Experience to support daily office operations at our downtown Toronto location. This is a full-time, fully onsite role within a fast-paced corporate environment. The successful candidate will bring a strong customer service mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a variety of responsibilities efficiently and proactively.Key Responsibilities:- Monitor mailroom requests submitted online and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
- Maintain logs for courier activity, office equipment, and internal distribution tasks.
- Pick up, sort, and distribute incoming mail and courier packages according to established schedules.
- Arrange outgoing shipments from both onsite and remote locations; track deliveries and communicate with couriers to ensure timely arrival.
- Assist with internal office moves (e.g., bin delivery/collection, signage, workstation setup), including support for larger group relocations.
- Manage office supply inventory, storage areas, and ensure replenishment as required.
- Collaborate with IT and hiring managers to provide a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience for employees.Key Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of general office experience (or 6+ months with demonstrated quality experience); financial services industry experience is an asset.
- Highly professional communication and interpersonal skills suitable for a corporate downtown environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.
- Excellent computer proficiency, including: Outlook, MS Office Word & Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Customer service-focused and comfortable in a high-touch, fast-paced setting.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as part of mail and office supply duties.
