- Managing client relationships and providing high-quality assurance and accounting services.
- Generating new business opportunities by showcasing the firm’s expertise and developing innovative solutions.
- Overseeing financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, tracking work in progress, invoicing, collections, and analyzing variances.
- Working efficiently within tight deadlines and proactively resolving client issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Supporting the growth of junior and senior staff through coaching, training, and mentorship.
- Ensuring full compliance with the firm’s confidentiality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in public accounting with demonstrated experience in audit functions.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Account (CA) designation.
- Extensive working knowledge of ASPE & IFRS accounting standards and Canadian corporate and personal tax regulations.
- In-depth understanding of professional standards, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain client relations as a trusted business advisor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
- Dedicated to delivering exceptional client service at a professional level.
- Experience with clients in the non-profit sector
