- Experience using HRIS (UltiPro/UKG Software or another related system) considered an asset.
- Experience working with a remote workforce across Canada and the US considered an asset.
- Experience in transportation and exposure to DOT regulations considered an asset.
- Experience managing and advising operations on a wide variety of HR administrative transactions and procedures considered an asset.
- Analyze job descriptions across operations, fleet, dispatch, terminal, safety, and corporate functions.
- Apply consistent methodology to evaluate roles using internal frameworks and external benchmarks.
- Partner with department leaders to update and maintain accurate role classifications across the region.
- Document compensation procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develops, monitors, updates and communicates project schedules to track tasks, deadlines and milestones.
- Conduct market analyses using industry surveys (e.g., Mercer, ERI) for transportation/logistics roles.
- Evaluate and recommend pay structures (hourly, salaried, incentive-based) aligned with competitive standards in North America.
- Support annual compensation reviews, merit increases, and bonus program modeling.
- Responsible for participation in compensation surveys for Canada and US.
- Ensure pay practices comply with FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Pay Transparency laws (by state/province), and transportation-specific standards (e.g., driver pay).
- Maintain the Federal and local level pay equity analysis and reporting (Canada federal pay equity and LEEP, Quebec, California EEO, US EEO, and any other jurisdictions that are added).
- Support audits and internal reviews related to pay equity and classification.
- Maintain compensation databases, dashboards, and reports.
- Use HRIS systems to gather, interpret, and present data.
- Serve as subject-matter expert for HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and Operations on compensation-related inquiries.
- Other duties as required.
- Human Resources (or a related field) Degree or Diploma
- Certification in WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional preferred
