We’re looking for a Sales Representative in the data centre industry in Alberta.Our client is a global leader in temporary power and climate control solutions, supporting mission-critical operations in data centres and high-availability environments. This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving, responsive team that delivers custom-engineered solutions to hyperscale, co-location, and enterprise data centre clients. The Sales Representative will focus on growing market share in Alberta by developing relationships with facility operators, engineers, and infrastructure contractors.Sales Representative responsibilities:
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the Alberta data centre market
  • Build and manage relationships with operators, facility managers, and MEP contractors
  • Understand data centre operational challenges and align temporary solutions to support uptime
  • Conduct site visits and technical assessments to scope power and cooling requirements
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and pricing in line with client needs and project timelines
  • Track opportunities and sales activity using CRM tools
  • Stay informed on industry trends, new builds, and expansion projects in the region
The successful candidate has:
  • 3–5 years of technical or solution-based sales experience in critical infrastructure, electrical, HVAC, or industrial sectors
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in business, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience working with data centres, large IT facilities, or high-spec mechanical systems
  • Strong communication, consultative selling, and relationship management skills
  • A proactive, self-directed approach and comfort working in high-demand environments
  • Willingness to travel throughout Alberta
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $85,000 – $95,000
  • Lucrative Commission with bridge for first year
