The opportunity:Reporting to the Director of Global Treasury, the Treasury Analyst will support the management of Gildan’s global daily Treasury working capital initiatives and oversee key Treasury performance indicators. This individual will contribute actively to expanding departmental capabilities across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will also aid in preparing various ad hoc corporate finance analyses and comprehensive reports on Treasury-related matters. Additionally, this position entails leveraging financial software to maintain the company’s financial stability and promote operational efficiency.The role
  • Manage global working capital programs, including receivables and supply chain financing, with forecasting and scaling as needed.
  • Help expand working capital initiatives via the Treasury Management System (TMS), improving forecasting and global efficiency with other teams.
  • Execute, monitor, and report global FX trades; enhance existing and MTM reporting.
  • Report and create monthly Treasury Global KPIs.
  • Help administer the Treasury Management System and other financial systems, ensuring data integrity, updates, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare reports and materials for Financial Risk Management meetings, Board reviews, debt management, FX targets, and other ad hoc needs.
  • Assist with departmental policy enforcement and internal control.
  • Support best practice implementation and process automation for Treasury.
  • Perform, on a quarterly basis, the bank fees analysis to assess how ancillary fee business is distributed among syndicate members.
  • Support creation of letters of credit.
The requirements
  • University degree in finance or related field
  • Professional designation (CPA, CFA, CTP) considered an asset
  • Prior experience with Kyriba considered an asset
  • 3 to 5 years of corporate treasury and/or corporate finance experience
  • Strong financial modeling skills and strong business system acumen
  • Knows how to prioritize and respect deadlines
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Rigorous, structured and organized
  • Large corporation/multinational environment experience considered an asset
  • Strong communicator in both English and French (Spanish is an asset)
  • This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French – mainly English.
