Passionate about customer service, you enjoy engaging with youth and families to support them on their purchasing decisions within the shop.This role supports shop operations by supporting student fittings, upselling and providing insights on items sold within the shop, labeling and pricing merchandise, responding to inquiries, and maintaining inventory.The hours consist of a part-time schedule (3 days a week between 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) between October to April with additional hours during peak times which may include occasional weekends and evenings for events. The role will transition to full-time hours between May to September to support the needs of the shop, though no shifts will be scheduled in July as The Shop is closed.Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Support the daily operations of the store, including any opening or closing tasksOperate POS system including sales, returns and tracking of inventory dataSupport the Shop Manager with maintaining the Shopify database with fulfilling orders, updating inventory daily, and ensuring product accuracyFulfill all online orders and manage inventory and stock levelsAssist with student uniform fittings and managing appointment bookingsAssist with merchandise packaging and deliveries, stocking shelves and displays, and pricing merchandiseDevelop strong relationships with the community, which include students, families, alums and employees, through exceptional customer serviceAdministrative tasks including management of the invoice payment process, digitizing shop records, etc.Personalize customer experiences and create a welcoming and inclusive environmentTrack feedback and follow up with customers, recording key customer notesAddress customer inquiries and concerns in person, on the phone, or via email inboxUpkeep the tidiness of The Shop, ensuring health and safety protocols are maintainedCandidate Profile:1-3 years of experience in a retail environment with knowledge of POS systemsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Asana and Calendly is an assetStrong verbal and written communication skills that translate to exceptional customer serviceAble to build rapport with a range of stakeholders and stay attuned to their needsProactive and brings an innovative lens to the roleAble to move, lift, carry, and transport moderately heavy objects (inventory, displays, etc.) weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistanceComfortable using step stools to access higher shelving, organize inventory, or set up displays safelyComfortable standing and walking for long periods of timeWhy Join Branksome Hall:Joining Branksome Hall will change your life.
