- Lead quality assurance and quality control activities across product development and production.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, procedures, and documentation.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor product performance metrics, failure trends, and field returns to identify systemic issues and implement improvements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is built into product design and processes.
- Review and approve engineering change orders (ECOs) and ensure proper quality validation.
- Establish and maintain incoming inspection processes and supplier quality programs.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Develop and track key quality KPIs (e.g., yield, defect rates, RMA rates, cost of poor quality).
- Utilize MS Business Central to track quality data, manage non-conformances, support traceability, and improve process visibility.
- Support regulatory and compliance requirements, including product certifications and industry standards where applicable.
- Prepare documentation and support internal and external audits.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams on quality best practices.
- Lead initiatives to improve product reliability, reduce scrap/rework, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within manufacturing, electronics, or hi-tech industries.
- Strong experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, Fishbone, 5 Whys).
- Proven experience in supplier quality management and manufacturing process validation.
- Proficiency in MS Business Central (Dynamics 365 Business Central) for quality tracking, reporting, and ERP-driven process management is required.
- Experience with ERP systems and quality data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and change control processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- High level of integrity and commitment to quality excellence.
- Experience with ISO-based quality systems or similar frameworks is an asset.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ASQ CQE) are a plus.

- Annual Salary Range: $90,000.00 CAD to $110,000.00 CAD
