Our client, a leader in the utility sector, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Grid Automation department supporting project execution and client relations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Project ManagerLocation: Markham, ONPay Range: 51.50 per hourShift: Days (08:30-16:30)What's the Job?

Lead and manage electrical grid automation projects from initiation through to warranty end, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, scope, and schedule standards.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary contact for contract execution and project delivery.
Coordinate with engineering, finance, procurement, and support teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Monitor project performance, prepare regular updates, and conduct project reviews to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
Lead safety initiatives, ensure compliance with company policies, and promote a culture of safety within project teams.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electricity grid engineering or project management.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% within North America, including US and Canada.
Proficiency in project management tools and procedures, with strong communication skills in English.
Experience managing customer-facing projects in the utility or industrial sectors is preferred.
