With over 4,200 employees and over 30 global manufacturing brands, AGI is a leading provider of equipment and technology solutions for agricultural commodities including seed, fertilizer, grain and feed systems and an expanding platform for food processing facilities.The OpportunityAGI Rosenort is looking to hire Machine Operators to support with everyday operations.The TeamOur large production team consists of welders, general laborers, machine operators, painters, and more. As a Machine Operator, you will collaborate with your Production Supervisor and peers to on a daily basis.Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand blueprints, specifications and drawings
  • Set up and operate all key equipment in the fabrication department (Plasma table, Laser, Presses, brakes, rollers)
  • Arrange parts and staging of materials
  • Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements
  • Review of finish parts to ensure accuracy against drawings
  • Follow all SOP’s and SWI’s required for the departments.
  • Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements i.e. continual improvements
  • Report fabrication issues and assist in resolutions as required.
  • Complete job orders using Kanban cards and job orders properly (if applicable)
  • Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools
  • Manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
