Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityThe Physiotherapist reports to a Health Services Manager and as a member of a clinical team, collaborates with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives, participates in the evaluation of team effectiveness, solves problems, and shares responsibilities. The Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients in a community healthcare setting who present with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.The Physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers with regard to health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and pain management.The Physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of Physiotherapy Assistants.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Graduation from a university with a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized school of Physiotherapy
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapy and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
- Continuing education course in the area of orthopedics is an asset
- Maintain current certification in CPR
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset
- Permanent Part-Time position, 37.5 Hours Bi-Weekly
