Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contract)

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination
- Handle a high-volume requisition load (approximately 20–25 roles) with a focus on timely delivery
- Recruit primarily for technology roles (e.g., Java developers), along with select corporate positions
- Partner closely with hiring managers on recruitment strategy and execution
- Coordinate interviews and maintain strong communication with stakeholders throughout the hiring process
- Support agency management efforts, with a long-term goal of reducing external reliance
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience while balancing speed and accuracy
- Contribute to an evolving TA function that is becoming more delivery-driven and agile
- 4–5 years of recruitment experience
- Background combining agency (strongly preferred), corporate, and/or RPO experience
- Experience hiring for technology roles (working knowledge required; deep technical expertise not necessary)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive requisitions independently
- Comfort working in environments with ambiguity and evolving processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Financial services experience is considered an asset
- Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion) is an asset
- Location: Downtown Toronto (approximately a 10-minute walk from Union Station)
- Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
- Employment Type: 6-month contract with strong intent to convert to permanent
- Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
