
Aircraft Tow Operator

- Safely operate equipment to move aircraft between hangars, terminals, and runways.
- Conduct pre-flight preparation tasks to ensure aircraft readiness for departure.
- Perform daily checks on movement and preparation equipment and complete required paperwork.
- Marshall and reposition aircraft as necessary for operational needs.
- Engage in hangar clean-up, ensuring stock of aircraft grooming supplies.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in ramp and supply areas, ensuring they are free from trash and debris.
- Adhere to strict time constraints and schedules to facilitate efficient aircraft movements.
- Ensure compliance with PAL safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Engage in self-study and preparation for necessary airport-related testing and certification.
- Assist in aircraft maintenance activities to support operational efficiency
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Required: Must have Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed OR minimum two years of relevant experience in aviation
- Preferred: Experience as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards in aircraft preparation and movement.
- Proficient and confident in operating aircraft movement equipment.
- Flexibility to adapt to various shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work effectively within strict timelines and adapt to changing schedules.
- Self-motivated and capable of executing tasks independently.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and procedural adherence.
- Willingness to work outdoors in noisy environments under varying weather conditions.
- Physical capability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Completion of High School.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean Driver's Abstract.
- Possess no criminal background and ability to obtain Security Clearance at airports.
