- Lead and perform testing, inspection, verification, installation, and servicing fire alarm systems.
- Supervise and mentor technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship by reviewing technicians’ annual inspection reports, adherence to safety protocols, and professional development.
- Review work orders, blueprints, and installation manuals to determine project scope, materials, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex system issues, ensuring compliance with specifications and code requirements.
- Verify system programming and functionality; demonstrate operations and preventive measures to clients.
- Support technicians with complications on site related to installation, service, and repairs of fire alarm systems.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, service activities, and system performance.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and national fire and life-safety codes and standards.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by your manager.
- Valid CFAA License (Canadian Fire Alarm Association)required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire alarm system installation, testing, or maintenance, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have a valid certification with Notifier.
- Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
