We are a growing startup looking for a highly energetic individual who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, continually learning, and has a get-it-done attitude.ResponsibilitiesLead software test strategy and test activities for reference designs.Prepare test plans for reference design software.Identify and log defects resulting from test cycles.Assist with classification, management, and resolution of software defects.Prepare and generate test reports.Lead design, development, and implementation of software test automation.Visualize test results over time through monitoring and reporting technology.Work with our DevOps team to integrate continuous testing into our daily development.Use test strategy and automation to enable frequent, high quality software releases.Promote continuous improvement of software development processes and methods while reducing costs.QualificationsMust have:Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.5+ years of industry experience.Expertise in testing Embedded Systems.Expertise of black and white box testing techniques.Expertise in test automation frameworks e.g. Robot, Selenium, Cucumber.Expertise in scripting languages e.g. Python, Bash.Expertise of working in Linux environments.Expertise in Source code version control (Git).Expertise in build automation and CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket pipelines, Jenkins).Preferred:Experience in Reporting and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).Experience with 3D Sensing Systems & LiDAR technology.Experience with point cloud data and analysis.Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).Familiarity with working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).Familiarity with embedded software development e.g. C, C++.Additional InformationAdditional informationPay range is $90,000 to $120,000 (Canadian) + Performance based Quarterly Bonus + Equity depending on experience.Benefits· Health Insurance· Dental· Vision· Vacation/Sick leave· Statutory Holidays (per British Columbia ESA -11)· Company paid Benefitso Life Insurance up to $50,000o Long Term Disabilityo Short Term DisabilityLumotive is an equal opportunity employer - All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other legally protected status.All your information will be kept confidential.
