- Undertake field work and help oversee the collection of information by junior team members
- Analyze and interpret hydrogeological information and prepare hydrogeological technical reports for submission to clients and regulators
- Support permitting applications including EASR registration and discharge agreement.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hydrogeological findings and interpretations with those of other scientific, planning, and engineering disciplines
- Help ensure successful project delivery with respect to health & safety, scope, schedule, budget, QA/QC, and client satisfaction
- Prepare proposals and contribute to the development and execution of service line, business sector, and client business development plans
- Liaise and build relationships with clients and ensure excellent service delivery
- Mentor junior team members and participate in internal and external training / mentorship opportunities

- The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location

- Minimum five years of experience in a similar hydrogeological role in environmental consulting
- Broad knowledge of hydrogeology including water resource management, groundwater chemistry, aquifer characterization, and surface water-groundwater interactions
- Working knowledge of provincial, local and industry specific regulations and guidelines
- Experience with the design, supervision, and analysis of aquifer testing and monitoring programs to characterize the physical and geochemical characteristics of the subsurface environment
- Knowledge of conceptual hydrogeologic models that consider aquifer characteristics, groundwater quality and geochemistry and overall water balance at both the local and regional scale
- Undergraduate degree in earth sciences. Master’s degree in hydrogeology or equivalent preferred
- Licensed Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.)
- Valid driver’s license, full time access to a vehicle and willingness to travel
