- Conduct Requirements Analysis, Traceability, and appropriate allocation of requirements to responsible parties.
- Responsible for eliciting, deriving and decomposing requirements.
- Responsible for managing requirements repository in IBM DOORS NG, maintaining configuration control, and ensuring synchronization with external systems and design activities to support design compliance, traceability, and alignment across all project teams and design activities.
- Manage the requirements baseline, track changes, and conduct version control.
- Assess impact of proposed changes.
- Provide technical assistance to the Requirements management team and all other stakeholders.
- Report progress and issues to Systems Engineering Management.
- Directly liaise with Design leads, Project managers, System assurance and other Systems engineers as required to support inputs/outputs between processes.
- Maintain a very good understanding of the project's domain, industry standards, and best practices.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering/Science (preferably Systems Engineering).
- 7 - 10 years' progressive experience in Requirements Management and Engineering with significant experience in rail and transit projects.
- Demonstrable strength in a minimum of one of the following:
- IEC 15288: 2015
- Requirements Management
- Experience with DOORS Next is desirable.
- INCOSE ASEP or CSEP certification is desirable.
- Membership, or eligible for membership, for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
- Ability to think creatively, work independently and deliver high quality work with minimal supervision sometimes within short timelines.
- Possess good organizational, administrative, interpersonal, verbal communication, and writing skills.
- Ability to work in teams and generate a spirit of cooperation while coordinating diverse activities and groups; people management and negotiating skills within a team environment.
- Good interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi- disciplined team.
- Able to hold competent technical discussions with Client representatives.
- Able to interface with domain specialists, design managers and construction project managers, in a competent professional manner.
- Broad experience of delivery within major infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of railway systems and / or operation within infrastructure projects / technology development and implementation projects.
- Available for occasional overtime work.
