- As a Senior Project Manager within the Corporate Project Management Office (PMO) team, your role centers on strategic and collaborative engagement with the business to drive the successful delivery of projects with measurable outcomes. Leading intricate projects incorporating operating mode, capabilities, structure and performance improvement in alignment with the enterprise objectives, you will exercise project leadership to support strategic initiatives spanning various business areas and operations teams.
- Your responsibilities extend beyond the conventional project management metrics of being on time, on budget, and on schedule. You are accountable for aligning projects with the desired business outcomes, ensuring they contribute meaningfully to organizational goals. This involves working closely with the business to define project outcomes, overseeing timely project completion, and implementing robust measurement mechanisms to gauge results.
- Thriving in an environment of informal authority, you excel in leveraging relationships and influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels. Your adept problem-solving skills enable you to navigate conflicts, steering them toward mutually beneficial resolutions without formal escalation. Your focus is on fostering collaboration and synergy to achieve the technical success of projects and their tangible impact on the overarching business objectives.
- 15+ years of direct Project Management experience in increasing complexity and challenging projects.
- PMP certification strongly preferred, or equivalent proven experience successfully leading projects through structured stage-gate methodologies while managing across key project delivery knowledge areas (scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, change management, and stakeholder engagement).
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex business transformation projects, emphasizing streamlining processes and a proactive embrace of automation-first strategies.
- Hands-on experience delivering ServiceNow projects
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams, translating strategic goals into executable ServiceNow solutions that enhance business performance.
- Experience partnering with enterprise architects, platform owners, and managed service providers to drive successful ServiceNow outcomes
- Knowledge of ITIL and service management practices and how they map to ServiceNow workflows
- Skillful in succinctly conveying essential information to the right audience with professionalism and clarity for informed decision-making.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to proactively identify problems, gather information and set and monitor a course of action.
- Diverse and creative solution orientation focusing on technical and process solutions for enterprise-wide structural and business performance improvement.
- Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills, including leading up, across and down.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Self-motivated & decisive with the ability to adapt to change and competing priorities.
- Competent and proficient understanding of various technology platforms, including ERPs like SAP and PeopleSoft.
- Proven strength in the application and interpretation of Project Management methodologies.
- Must be able and willing to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Industry-recognized certification in Project Management.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.

- Oversee ServiceNow platform initiatives, driving delivery from design through implementation.
- Partner with business and technical teams to define ServiceNow requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of project delivery practices.
- Take ownership of delivering high-impact, performance-driven initiatives that are pivotal to the organizations long-term strategy.
- Ability to optimize processes, monitor performance metrics, and ensure operational excellence will be essential in translating strategic vision into actionable results.
- Navigate complexity, manage multifaceted risks, and collaborate closely with executive stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes.
- Influence organizational direction, foster innovation, and achieve sustained success.
- Facilitate definition of project scope, deliverables, and benefits in collaboration with Business Owners, Project Sponsor(s), Portfolio Manager(s), and Steering Committee members.
- Working with the project team and business owner, appropriately select an implementation methodology (agile, waterfall, hybrid) based on the scope of work, timeline, and budget.
- Estimate resources and budget required, adhering to strict financial and resource management practices during the project lifecycle.
- Plan and deliver complex projects to meet scope, budget, time, and business satisfaction while following the PMO methodology.
- Actively engage with business areas to ensure access to knowledgeable personnel and execution of project planning and organizational governance.
- Identify stakeholders and manage?at varying levels within the organization,?tailoring?your style?and approach?to meet their needs.
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to negotiate and integrate project plans, secure commitments on deliverables, and resolve blocking issues.
- Identify, track, and manage project interdependencies to ensure optimal utilization of resources, ongoing risk identification and timely benefits realization on the project level.
- Ensure the project establishes and delivers on commitment and benefits and establishes metrics to identify areas of risk and allow planning for mitigation proactively.
- Diligently monitor and control project scope, budget & schedule throughout the project lifecycle, identifying potential issues and mitigation plans.
- Develop and deliver status reports and Steering Committee presentations on a timely basis.
- Conduct project postmortems and create recommendations in the final Project Close report leveraging successful and unsuccessful project lessons learned.
