You will contribute to the design and execution of electrical systems while supporting overall project delivery.This is a growth-oriented role where you’ll be encouraged to expand your technical expertise, take on increasing responsibility, and develop leadership capabilities over time.Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and contribute to the delivery of electrical engineering projects from early design through construction
- Support project management activities, including scheduling, documentation, and construction-phase involvement
- Engage with clients and project teams to ensure expectations are met and communication remains clear
- Assist in preparing proposals and supporting new business opportunities
- Review and assess existing building systems, providing reports and recommendations
- Participate in the design of electrical systems such as power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage infrastructure
- Carry out load calculations and system analysis using relevant software tools
- Ensure all work aligns with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
- Review drawings and documents internally to maintain a high standard of quality
- Contribute wherever needed to support successful project outcomes
- 3–8 years of experience in electrical engineering within the buildings sector
- Registered as an EIT or eligible for P.Eng licensure in Ontario is considered an asset
- Experience producing design documentation and supporting project delivery (drawings, specifications, cost estimates, etc.)
- Familiarity with construction processes and building systems coordination
- Working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and Ontario Building Code (OBC)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
