Conveyancing ParalegalWe are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to manage real estate files from start to finish in a busy, well-established practice.This role is focused exclusively on residential transactions. If you enjoy running organized, efficient files and keeping deals moving smoothly toward completion, this may be an excellent fit.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will handle residential real estate transactions independently, including:Preparing purchase, sale, and mortgage documentation for Land Title registrationRegistering transfers, mortgages, and discharges through LTSAOrdering and reviewing mortgage payout statementsPreparing discharge documentation and reporting to purchaser's counselConducting title and off-title searches (tax certificates, corporate searches where applicable, PPR searches, etc.)Reviewing purchase and sale agreements and coordinating deposits, adjustments, and payoutsPreparing trust documentation and internal transaction recordsDrafting reporting letters and completion summariesCommunicating directly with clients, realtors, lenders, financial institutions, and opposing counselPreparing and filing Land Owner Transparency Registry (LOTR) declarations where requiredAssisting with registration of liens and other charges against title when necessaryYou will have ownership of your files while working within a collaborative team environment.QualificationsParalegal or Legal Administrative Assistant diploma from a recognized institutionMinimum 2+ years of recent residential conveyancing experience in BCStrong knowledge of LTSA processes and closing proceduresExperience with ESILaw, NetDocuments, and Microsoft Office considered an assetAbility to manage a high volume of files and meet multiple deadlinesExcellent organizational, communication, and prioritization skillsSelf-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independentlyWhy Apply?Consistent residential workflowSupportive and professional environmentOpportunity to take full ownership of your filesA role that values experience, reliability, and initiative
