  • Quality Management: Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) and lead quality assurance and control programs to drive consistent, high-quality production. Monitor quality metrics and drive data-informed continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as a strategic partner to customer-facing teams, ensuring quality standards align with client expectations and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (SQF, ISO 9001, GMP), lead internal and external audits, and maintain certifications. Ensure supplier compliance through vendor qualification and material certification processes.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Collaborate across departments to embed quality and compliance into all operations, while leading and developing a high-performing quality team. Lead non-conformance investigations and cross functional CAPA projects
  • Documentation & Training: Deliver quality training, maintain document control standards, and manage quality management software systems to support automation and innovation.
What you’ll bring

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Quality or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Food Science or Packaging preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience, preferably in a quality/compliance role in the food or pharmaceutical packaging industry
  • Strong knowledge of SQF, GMP, ISO 9001, HACCP, and other relevant standards
  • Experience managing audits and regulatory inspections
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Certification in Quality Auditing (CQA), Six Sigma, or related fields is an asset
