The General Laborer maintains the property, porta potties, and trailers to ensure a clean, safe, and organized site. This role is responsible for routine groundskeeping, prepping and servicing porta potties, cleaning and maintaining trailers, and managing trash cans and waste disposal. Performs inspections, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks to support daily operations and maintain site standards.Responsibilities
  • Responsible for cleaning portable units and the repair of portable units, trailers, and lavatories – may require a service call to customer/client property.
  • Maintain and account for shop, asset, and yard inventory.
  • Assist with deliveries and pickups as required.
  • Responsible for receiving stock orders and organizing within the warehouse/shop.
  • Clean and maintain company building/shop.
  • Complete yard maintenance at shop/yard.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisory/management team.
Qualifications
  • Handyman experience (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, millwright) is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of basic hand and power tools.
  • Forklift license is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of standing and being on your feet for extended periods.
  • Willing and able to work at event and customer sites for set-up and tear down.
  • Must be reliable and able to commute to work consistently.
  • Strong communication skills.
