- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage and organization of goods in the distribution centre.
- Support the receiving process by decanting products into appropriate storage bins using the advanced Ocado Smart Platform.
- Perform regular stock counts and ensure inventory accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) scanners to track and update inventory levels.
- Assist in managing the flow of goods from suppliers and internal stock movements within the facility.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and product availability.
- Maintain adherence to food safety and health policies, ensuring compliance with general hygiene and allergen standards.
- Assist in dispatching goods and loading customer orders into delivery vans as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory.
- Basic numeration skills and a strong understanding of inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment ranging from 0°C - 15°C.
- Ability to lift and move products up to 40 lbs, with occasional heavier lifting using team lifting principles.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Flexible, dependable, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Reliable transportation (the facility is not serviced by public transportation).
- Forklift license
- Previous inventory or warehouse experience
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems
