Job Description:Onshore Production Technical SpecialistRole Type: Existing vacancyAre you ready to drive efficiency and enhance key operations? Join us and make a significant impact on client services!This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Aon offices in Toronto, Vancouver or Calgary.Candidates must be flexible to work on, which can range from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (if based in Calgary) or 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Vancouver).Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeThis function is responsible for overseeing the issuance of certificates, including Third Party Forms, Auto ID cards and non-standard items including but not limited to; offline certificates of insurance, merge documents, PlanetPress solutions etc.
  • Assists with producing certificates and helps improve key processes within Aon Client Services.
  • Collects and reports on important performance data (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Helps prepare reports, plans, and other important documents.
  • Follows standard procedures and uses recommended tools to help share information efficiently between teams, clients, and partners.
  • Supports the development and use of quality control standards to ensure work meets company guidelines.
  • Provides support to the Onshore Production team by assisting with operational and technical tasks under supervision, helping to meet client needs

  • Preferred candidates will have some insurance experience and demonstrate forward-thinking abilities as well as being a self-starter
  • Must have and maintain appropriate Insurance Broker's license or must obtain provincial license within 3 to 6 months of start date
  • Advanced knowledge of functional area
  • Knowledge of excel and merge documents
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
  • Proficiency in French is considered a significant asset
