- Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.
- Solutions Analysis: Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.
- Applications Software Maintenance: Monitor, identify, and correct straightforward software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software.
- Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Operational Compliance: Identify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Product and Solution Development: Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
- Design and Conceptualization: Produce multiple concepts and prototypes to design digital products/services.
- Operating Machine or Equipment: Operate complex machines and systems, adjusting processes to optimize quality and productivity. Also responsible for generating solutions to complex inefficiencies.
- Quality Assurance Testing: Carry out a specified range of complex tests; interpret test data to verify that specifications are met and/or to identify remedial actions required to ensure conformance.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
- Professional certification as a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and construction
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software. Experience with Microstation, InRoads, and other Bentley applications is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
