Adecco is currently hiring a Foreperson for a full-time opportunity based in Calgary, AB. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional with strong leadership experience who can effectively oversee subcontractors, coordinate site activities, and support successful project delivery in a fast-paced construction environment.The Foreperson will work closely with the Site Superintendent and project team to manage field operations, ensure quality and safety standards are met, and help maintain project schedules and budgets.Salary: $38-$45 per hourLocation: Calgary, ABSchedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:00pmEmployment Type: Permanent | Full-timeResponsibilitiesSupervise subcontractors and own forces on site to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standardsSupport the Site Superintendent in coordinating daily construction activities, sequencing, and workforce planningManage job site resources including labour, equipment, and materials to support project performance and profitabilityCollaborate with Superintendents, Project Managers, consultants, inspectors, and regulatory bodies to execute project plansDevelop short-term lookahead schedules and identify weekly deliverables for trades and internal crewsMonitor project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule milestonesMaintain detailed site documentation including daily reports, manpower tracking, progress photos, as-built updates, and purchase recordsEnforce health, safety, and environmental policies in compliance with legislation and company standardsBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and team membersSupport coordination of site logistics, trade sequencing, and construction execution activitiesRequirementsMust be eligible to work and reside within CanadaJourneyperson Carpentry certification requiredExperience as a lead hand, foreperson, or similar supervisory role in constructionStrong knowledge of Alberta building codes, safety regulations, and workplace safety requirementsAbility to read and interpret structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawingsBasic computer skills including email and document preparationStrong organizational, leadership, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environmentPhysically capable of working on active construction sites, including lifting up to 50 lbsValid driver's license with a clean driving abstractPreferred ExperienceExperience with construction budgeting and purchasing considered an assetStrong background in coordinating trades across multiple disciplinesExperience working in varied weather conditions and remote/site-based environmentsWhy This RoleOpportunity to take a leadership role on active construction projectsStrong exposure to field operations, scheduling, and project coordinationHands-on role with growth potential within construction management pathwaysInterested in this position?
