- Undergraduate degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university.
- Registered, or eligible for registration, as an Engineer-in-Training with EGBC.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in consulting engineering is an asset.
- Familiar with structural analysis programs such as SAP 2000 or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of local building codes and Canadian design standards.
- Ability to read, interpret and create drawings and specifications.
- Ability to compose technical memorandum and technical report with minimal supervision.
- Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- General knowledge of construction methods and project delivery processes.
- Site experience is an asset.
