The role supports a diverse portfolio of both SaaS and on-premise applications, serving internal teams and external partners such as EMR companies and clinics. This role oversees the resolution of escalated application issues, manages vendor relationships, and ensures smooth collaboration between IT and key business stakeholders. How YOU will make a difference:
Responsible for leading and managing the Application Support team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of application-related issues
  • Oversee the resolution of escalated incidents to minimize business impact
  • Ensure application stability and availability by collaborating with IT infrastructure, security, and development teams
  • Own and improve application support processes, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service delivery
  • Directly manage a team of Application Support Specialists, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance management for the team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the support team
  • Work closely with Infrastructure, Development, and Security teams to align on application support needs
  • Partner with key business units such as Operations, Finance, and HR to ensure applications meet business needs
  • Manage relationships with external partners (EMR companies, clinics) and third-party vendors for application support and improvements
  • Oversee security patching and vulnerability management in collaboration with the IT Security team
  • Ensure applications align with internal security policies and industry best practices
  • Oversee user training, documentation, and knowledge base management to enhance self-service capabilities
  • Drive end-user adoption of new applications and system updates through structured communication and training initiatives
What YOU bring to the role:
7+ years of experience in Application Support or IT Service Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience managing SaaS and on-premise applications in a high-demand environment
  • Strong expertise in incident resolution, troubleshooting, and application lifecycle management
  • Proven experience working with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management tools
  • Strong vendor management skills, including contract negotiations and performance tracking
  • Experience overseeing security patching and application vulnerability management in collaboration with IT Security
  • Experience working in healthcare, laboratory, or clinical environments is a plus
  • Familiarity with application monitoring and automation tools
Working Conditions:
  • Some after-hours and weekend work may be required for critical application issues
  • Occasional travel to satellite locations may be needed
  • Office-based role with flexibility for remote work as needed
  • Fast-paced, high-volume IT support environment
Pay rate: $84,000 to $105,000The hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.At Dynacare, we may leverage AI-powered tools in our recruitment process.
