
Technical Sales Representative

- Build and sustain strong relationships with industrial clients, distributors, and engineering firms involved in project planning and specification
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through outreach methods such as networking, referrals, and cold calls
- Deliver informative product presentations and technical demonstrations to showcase the value and application of solutions like valves, hoses, expansion joints, and steam traps
- Work closely with internal engineering and technical teams to create customized solutions that meet client-specific needs
- Generate accurate quotes and proposals, and follow up to successfully close sales
- Stay informed about market trends, product innovations, and competitor activities
- Keep CRM systems up to date with client interactions, sales activities, and forecasts
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer training sessions
- At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, ideally within industrial, mechanical, or process-related sectors
- Post-secondary education in engineering, technology, or a related technical field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Solid understanding of distribution networks and engineering procurement processes
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally within Calgary and nearby regions
