Job DescriptionThe Country Leader - Canada will act as head of the leadership team in country to bring the team together and deliver the overall country performance. By driving change and growth with the right balance of entrepreneurial decision making and good corporate citizenship, they will ensure decisions are made for the benefit of Rotork as a whole at all times.Reporting to the Managing Director - O&G & Americas, there will be both solid and dotted lines of responsibility for every function in a country, who collectively are responsible for delivering the Growth+ strategy along with the financial, HSE and employee engagement performance metrics for the country.This key stakeholder will work collaboratively across all end markets and functions within the Country (such as Engineering, Finance, Site Services) and hold others to account for delivering specific elements of the country performance. They will also be directly responsible for leading the country sales support functions (customer support and application engineering).QualificationsExperience Requirements:
  • Proven experience with a successful track record of leading others
  • Degree or similar recognized qualification in Engineering
  • Good command of English, (both spoken and written)
  • Rounded management experience covering sales, manufacturing and financial management
  • Fulfil wider reporting responsibilities, including performance and sales plans, forecasting and other KPIs as needed with support of sales teams
The Successful Candidate:
  • Work effectively through a matrix structure to build growth and strong, productive internal relationships that create benefit for multiple functions. Acting as the communication channel between all functions in the country.
  • Be responsible for new product introduction, local marketing campaigns and event management in country in collaboration with End Markets teams in country.
  • Customer ownership through the wider team to drive excellent customer relationships.
  • Manage resource allocation to ensure resources are effectively deployed to support end markets inputs based on Rotork and customer priorities.
