- Ensure that incident reports are properly completed and sent to the appropriate contacts
- Escort individuals to and from Uncontrolled Areas
- Prior to entering the Restricted Area and/or Sterile Area, verify all Temporary Passes against Lost & stolen list
- Notify the correct parties when entering the facility and when leaving
- Notify the senior escort of any safety and/or security incidents (regardless of severity) that occur on the site
- Ensure that Escort Ratios are adhered to (at all times) while escorting construction workers working at the site
- Ensure that Visual Contact is maintained while escorting construction workers using Temporary Passes
- Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments;
- Submit reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations as per deadlines;
- Oversee training and scheduling of Commissionaires;
- Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress;
- Ensure team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment;
- Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy;
- Contacting management in situations not covered by Post Orders.
- Valid BC Security License
- Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 10 years for clearance purposes
- OFA 1 certificate
- Previous supervisory experience
- Minimum 3 years security experience
- Excellent English oral and written skills
- WHMIS
- Fall Protection Course
