OverviewBrandt Industries Canada Ltd. is currently seeking for Material Handlers for our Regina, SK location. The Material Handler position is primarily responsible to facilitate the movement of material at the facility, both internal and external all while maintaining organization and cleanliness of the shop.Who We AreBrandt is a customer driven company, privately owned and family run, strengthened by diversification and succeeding through specialization.   • Direct responsibility for all movement of material in the facility
  • Perform prep work for painters
  • Keep to schedule cleaning duties as laid out
  • Maintain property surrounding shop, including litter control
  • Ensure workplace safety by ensuring operators are following safety protocols and are properly trained
What We Look For
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Experience driving forklift, or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment
  • Experience with routine maintenance operations
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse work environment
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
  • Job requires ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required
  • Hazards associated with the industry
  • Majority of work is inside
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned
