Regional Accountant, Bathurst, New BrunswickThe Regional Accountant will take the lead on tracking and managing all by-product sales and accruals for our East and Atlantic Operations. Put your financial expertise to work analyzing data, preparing reports and ensuring strong accounting controls - helping keep our operations running smoothly and profitably.*This role can be based out of Bathurst, Belledune, or Miramichi*What We Offer

What You'll Do
  • Manage sales processes: invoices, rates, pricing, reconciliation, sales, freight and loading agreement records
  • Ensure data accuracy: corrections, discrepancies and accruals
  • Financial reporting and analysis: reports, month-end procedures, forecasts, budgets and analysis
  • Collaborate and cross-train: partner with accountants, procurement and operations to ensure seamless financial control and reporting
What You Offer
  • Undergraduate degree in business or accounting or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with accounting systems and knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail, data management expertise with effective organization, planning and communication abilities
  • Positive, proactive, results-oriented, collaborative team player
