Shipping / Receiving Team Lead - Afternoons

• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to employees in Shipping and Receiving
• Lead by example, demonstrating excellence in customer service and cultivating an atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork
• Dispatch and coordinate delivery trucks in a timely manner
• Ensure safe work practices are used at all times in the warehouse
• Assist in training and coaching of the staff in Shipping and Receiving
• Ensure company vehicles and equipment are properly maintained
• Organize and assist with the day-to-day activities of Shipping and Receiving which include unloading and processing received product, placing incoming product into inventory, checking incoming product for damage and initiating freight claims
• Ensure Shipping and Receiving area is neat and organized
• Participate in inventory counts
• Perform other duties as assigned

• You have good communication and interpersonal skills
• You are energetic, motivated, reliable team player
• You have a strong customer service background
• You have a good understanding of computers
• Previous warehouse and leadership experience an asset
