Maintenance/Machine Operator

• Oversee maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is maintained properly
• Verbally communicate identified Emergent/Urgent repair problems accurately and efficiently to Operations Supervisor
• Foster a safe work environment and promote continuous improvement initiatives in regards to workplace safety.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of all equipment and buildings
• Willing and capable of doing some exterior physical labor in varying weather conditions as required
• Willing and capable to work at heights
• Provide daily support to the Site Supervisor, overseeing the blending facility to ensure customer orders are completed in a timely, safe, and diligent manner.

• College diploma or Journeymen Trade certificate in the fields of either electrical, mechanical, or welding fabrication would be a definite asset. Individuals with significant work experience in any of these trades but not licensed will be considered.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision in a team environment
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift and skid loader would be an asset
• Class 3 license would be an asset
• Able to work extended hours during the spring blending season
• Possess a Strong Safety record.
• Must work with a sense of urgency
• Ability to safety lift/move 40 lbs.
