Our client in supply chain is seeking a highly skilled Excel expert to develop a comprehensive cost model and commercial model. The ideal candidate will bring advanced Excel capabilities, expertise in commercial cost accounting, and experience working collaboratively within a team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, exercise data-driven analysis, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality project results.Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Development: Create a dynamic cost model and commercial model using Microsoft Excel. Utilize advanced Excel functions, including macros, data processing, and scenario analysis, to optimize model performance.
  • Excel Expertise: Build automated workflows, solve complex problems, and execute robust analysis using advanced formulas and macros, ensuring data integrity and usability.
  • Finance Expertise: Apply cost accounting principles, direct labor volume analysis, activity-based accounting, and financial analysis to refine structure and outputs within the models.
  • Time Management: Plan and adhere to project timelines, ensuring the timely delivery of milestones and deliverables.
  • Power BI Integration: Have familiarity with datasets and tools such as Power BI to integrate and enhance data visualization and reporting.
  • Project Management: Oversee project initiatives and workflows, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and delivering results.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced Excel functionalities, including macros, data processing, and scenario analysis.
  • Deep understanding of financial analysis, cost accounting, direct labor analysis, activity-based costing, and commercial modeling.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines, coordinate tasks, and maintain communication with cross-department teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for dataset integration and visualization is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork and stakeholder alignment.
  • Certifications such as CPA, CMA, or MBA are preferable.
  • Advanced Excel certifications are highly preferred.
