Mentor and Support Team Members: Provide hands-on training and feedback to junior staff, contributing to a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Client Relationship Management: Build strong, ongoing relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact, offering practical and strategic financial insights.
Tax Planning & Compliance: Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, and support clients with small business tax planning.
File Review & Quality Control: Ensure engagement files meet professional standards and internal quality expectations.Senior Public Accountant Qualifications:CPA designation in good standing (required)
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Canadian public accounting
Strong understanding of ASPE, and experience preparing/reviewing T1, T2, and T4 filings
Proven ability to mentor junior staff and review files with attention to detail
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and client management skills
