Our client, in the logistigs field, is seeking a Class 5 Driver to join their team.Job Title: Class 5 Driver/Courier
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 5:00pm (This is a fixed shift which requires full availability Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $18-$22/hour (based on experience and qualifications)What's the Job?

Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
Assist in the facility as needed at each stop
Maintain and monitor trailer temperature from departure to arrival to always preserve ambient temperature
Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete the truck inspection log daily with samsara fleet

What's Needed?

Valid Class 5 Driver's License for at least 3 years required
Over the age of 25 years (to meet company insurance requirements)
Ability to provide a clear driver's abstract and proof of clear criminal history
2-3 years experience as a driver/ parcel delivery required
Ability to problem-solve and collaborate with Dispatch and customers
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Geographical knowledge of Mississauga and surrounding areas
