- Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 3,000 hourly employees across multiple provinces, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Reconcile restaurant timesheets manually against the Cohesion system for over 160 locations, while managing automated timesheets for hotel employees.
- Handle full-cycle payroll tasks, including data entry, adjustments, and reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update payroll records to ensure compliance with company policies and provincial regulations.
- Utilize Ceridian Dayforce and Excel to manage payroll data and generate reports as needed.
- Ensure accurate integration of timesheet data into the payroll system, particularly for restaurant employees.
- Assist with benefits administration and other payroll-related functions as required.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance the efficiency of payroll operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in processing payroll for hourly employees across multiple provinces.
- Hands-on experience with Ceridian Dayforce and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Canadian payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle large volumes of data accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and address employee inquiries.
- Experience in the hospitality or real estate industry is considered an asset.
