They are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to help build and scale their security function.The RoleYou will own and drive key security initiatives across product, cloud infrastructure, compliance, and operations, ensuring enterprise-grade security standards such as SOC 2, while enabling engineering teams to move quickly with secure-by-default systems.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud & Infrastructure SecurityDesign, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS and KubernetesManage IAM, network security, and secrets managementConduct security architecture reviews for new services and infrastructure changesSecurity Operations & Incident ResponseDevelop and maintain incident response playbooks and runbooksLead security incident investigations, containment, and post-incident reviewsBuild detection, alerting, and monitoring across infrastructure and applicationsSecure Engineering EnablementBuild security guardrails across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud environmentsEnable engineering teams with secure templates, tooling, and self-service security capabilitiesRequired Qualifications4+ years of hands-on security engineering experienceStrong understanding of cloud security architecture (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, and IAMProven experience leading incident investigations and building detection capabilitiesExperience implementing security controls across CI/CD and infrastructure-as-codeExcellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworksStartup experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environmentProficiency in one or more of: Python, Java, Go, or TypeScriptExperience with corporate security (endpoint protection, identity management, SSO/MFA)
