Exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Account Manager to become a part of a nationwide insurance brokerage, work on large and complex accounts with industry leaders.Our client is one of the largest independent brokerage in Western Canada. They are known for their dedicated team focused on delivering the best solution for customers, grown to 10 offices and over 200 people. They are currently in search of a Senior Commercial Account Manager to service a book of business with large and complex accounts in various industries, mainly in construction.The Senior Commercial Account Manager will work alongside a Producer, service existing clients and collaborate with administration, underwriters, management and other advisors in the office.About The Position:
  • Act as the primary customer service contact, handling inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email
  • Respond to customer requests, either directly or through the Producer, and submit information to appropriate insurance companies
  • Participate in account reviews, promote additional products and services, and provide value-added services to clients
  • Prepare submissions, applications, proposals, cover notes, customer correspondence, certificates, and invoices
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance partners
  • Market accounts including new, renewal, and midterm changes
Requirements:
  • Level 2 Alberta insurance license
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Account Manager at a brokerage
  • You have a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations, and are always looking for creative and innovative solutions
  • CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation is an asset
