- Provide administrative and operational support to the Director, Film & TV.
- Gather and document use-cases related to system, policy or procedural concerns to support recommendations for Québec-based Screen Composer initiatives.
- Engage in departmental working groups related to audiovisual concerns for improved functionality and resolution.
- Work with the Creative team to help organize and execute audiovisual focused initiatives in Québec, including Composer round tables and Montréal à l’image.
- Contribute to the implementation of audiovisual related projects (e.g., documentation standardization, policies, and procedural resources, creation of training and on-the-job support materials, internal working groups related to audiovisual concerns or functionality, etc.)
- Facilitate education and escalation support around Synchronized Licensing.
- Management of some key Quebec-based Screen Composers.
- Track audiovisual related concerns, related projects, and their progress and/or resolution.
- Work closely with the AV team to ensure Québec cue sheets are prioritized.
- Attend educational and industry events in-person.
- Other duties as required
- 1-2 years of experience working in the entertainment/film, television, or music industry.
- 1-3 years experience in a Collective Management Organization, Production Company, or Post-production company
- Post-secondary education in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
- Understanding of and familiarity with Québec Composer community.
- Excellent communication (spoken and written) skills in French and English
- Knowledge of Film & Television music and Synchronization Licensing
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service
- Problem-solving/decision-making skills
- Knowledge of Québec community and ecosystem
- Knowledge of SOCAN
- Knowledge of CRM software
- Knowledge of database software (PowerBI Pivot Tables or similar)
- Proficient in use of MS office (Word, Excel) applications
