Marketing Supervisor (West) - McDonald’s*Please note that this role is working directly for the client (McDonald’s) in partnership with Cossette Vancouver.Marketing SupportDevelops and executes marketing projects supporting the entire business portfolio. This includes creating communication briefs, providing strategic feedback on advertising campaigns across all channels, and managing the internal review and approval process to ensure adherence to brand and legal standards. Key responsibilities also include:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Ops, Deployment, Supply Chain, and Legal to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Utilizing consumer and business insights to identify opportunities for driving sales and customer visits.
  • Streamlining the LRM West portfolio by creating reusable frameworks and processes for agency partners and internal teams.
  • Maintaining a playbook of best practices and ensuring all teams have the latest pricing information.
  • Acting as the primary project manager for local activations and regional accelerators.
  • Analyzing marketing program performance with the BI team to optimize results and marketing spend.
Business ManagementManages and analyzes market share and HOT scores for the Western region to inform business decisions. This also involves:
  • Managing the 90-day marketing calendar for the West.
  • Guiding stakeholders to maximize marketing plan effectiveness and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities and trends to inform the broader marketing strategy.
  • Preparing RMF meeting decks with input from key stakeholders.
Social Media ConsultancyProvides social media expertise to restaurant teams to enhance their business impact. Key responsibilities in this area are:
  • Training and onboarding restaurant teams on social media best practices.
  • Curating, creating, and publishing a monthly social media calendar in collaboration with the national team and agencies.
  • Managing the relationship with Meta, which includes handling business maintenance, escalating issues, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Conducting 1:1 sessions to provide social media plans that align with the overall marketing approach.
  • Identifying and sharing best-in-class social media activations to inspire and inform.
  • Collaborating with PR and Weber on social-media-first campaigns, such as those involving influencers and paid boosts, and reporting on their performance.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience working in social media marketing and community management.
  • High comfort level in presenting, facilitating and training franchisees with varying levels of proficiency.
  • Extensive knowledge in Facebook including Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager.
  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to creatively strategize for social content.
  • Demonstrate ability to fully understand social media metrics and what they mean for businesses and brands.
  • Exemplary communication skills, reporting skills and proficiency in G Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Marketing/advertising background is a plus.
  • Be a self-starter and identify areas for improvement.
