Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The PB&CB Home Equity Financing (HEF) business provides residential mortgages to Canadians. HEF continues to grow the overall portfolio and is the largest residential mortgage portfolio in the country. The Acquisition team is accountable to deliver results against HEF’s annual origination plan .The team is responsible for identifying and executing on strategic opportunities to grow our market lead through innovative ways in a highly competitive environment.As the Director, HEF Acquisition, you will be responsible for enabling and managing our end-to-end sales funnel acquisition strategies through in-depth client research, market and competitive awareness while leveraging AI to build better solutions to be on the client’s path. Additionally, your role will be to strengthen acquisition across all HEF distribution channels and salesforces to drive market leading growth.What will you do?Grow our acquisition market share position by connecting homeowners throughout the sales funnel through market-leading leads, new test and learns, offers, and programs.Focused on market conditions and their effect on client purchase cycles with oversight on competitive threats and offeringsLeverage AI to better understand client needs and to deliver best in class solutions tailored to specific clients and channels - versus overall portfolio onlyMaximize the client experience by enabling all sales channels and roles to deliver value added advice through best-in-class tools and resourcesFoster highly engaged employees by focusing on collaboration, skill and career development and wellbeingMaximize client experience by delivering value added advice through best-in-class tools, and resourcesWork closely with key partners such as marketing, distribution, sales, corporate communication, research, legal, risk analytics and other lines of business who will help you achieve our growth objectivesWhat do you need to succeed?Must have:7+ years of financial services experience (Home Equity Finance experience preferred)Experience driving complex, multi stakeholder initiatives/programs (i.e. Regional Banking, Marketing, Technology, Ops, Legal, Risk, etc)University Degree/MBA or extensive related work experienceAbility to prioritize work for greatest impact using financial and data acumenOwner/operator mindset who works independentlyWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
