We’re partnering with a fast-moving Canadian company, headquartered in the GTA, that’s navigating a critical inflection point—and they need an Interim VP Finance to help steer the way.Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll be at the heart of financial strategy and execution, driving key decisions and leading a talented accounting team through a period of transformation. This is more than just an interim role—it’s a chance to influence the trajectory of a business and leave a lasting mark.What You’ll Do:
  • Partner closely with the CFO to lead all accounting and financial reporting functions.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting across multiple business units and segments.
  • Play a strategic role in shaping organizational decisions and driving forward-looking initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and align a high-performing team to maximize impact and results.
  • Streamline day-to-day operations and elevate the finance function.
  • Oversee the supply chain and manufacturing finance team, ensuring alignment with broader financial goals and operational efficiency.
What You Bring:
  • CPA designation and proven senior finance leadership experience.
  • Deep knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and US GAAP.
  • Background in Manufacturing or CPG, especially in environments undergoing change.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Resilience and agility to thrive under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (implementation experience a plus).
