
Sales Representative-Engineered Wood Products

- Implement sales strategies that maximize margins.
- Develop relationships and understand needs with the North American EWP customer base.
- Manage customer inquiries regarding availability and pricing of EWP products
- Collaborate with our field and internal representatives, mill and logistics staff, to manage our programs, sales orders and production.
- Manage offsite remanufacturing programs
- Keep current and report on EWP markets, trends, and sales orders.
- Enter sales orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follow customer orders through delivery and service accounts thereafter
- Attend customer meetings and trade shows across Canada and the USA.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary education in Business, Forestry or Engineering.
- Knowledge of EWP markets and/or the panel and lumber industry manufacturing process would be an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience with a track record of performance in a similar field or related industry.
- A self-motivated team player with a sense of urgency and flexibility to work until the job is complete.
- Analytical skills and the ability to strategize, plan, execute and report.
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to travel across North America.
- Ability to work in an open environment and to collaborate effectively in a highly interactive team environment.
- Fluency in both English and French would be an asset.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Bring a high degree of honesty and integrity to all situations.
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Power BI.
