- Oversee employee benefits programs, including liaising with providers and resolving any related issues.
- Maintain and organize employee records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and reference checks.
- Draft and update employment contracts and handle matters related to short-term and long-term leaves.
- Monitor and track HR metrics, such as employee attendance and performance trends.
- Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure workplace compliance.
- Support employees and management with HR-related inquiries, offering guidance on best practices.
- Coordinate training sessions and development initiatives to foster employee growth.
- Utilize HR systems, including BambooHR, for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and programs.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources generalist role.
- Proficiency with HR systems such as BambooHR, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian Dayforce.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, including recruitment, benefits administration, and policy development.
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in Ontario.
