Salary: 120k+ (Based on Experience)About the Role:
We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join a growing consulting engineering team working on a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, and institutional projects. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in all phases of project delivery, from concept design through to construction, within a collaborative and technically driven environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analysis of structural systems including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for a variety of building types
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, mechanical, and electrical engineers
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input throughout all project phases
- Conduct site visits and field reviews to ensure compliance with design intent and applicable codes
- Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction
- Support project delivery by ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng. in [Province]
- 3–8+ years of experience in structural design within a consulting environment
- Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and standards
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, or similar)
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is considered an asset
- Strong communication and coordination skills
