- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to drive parts sales
- Visit customer sites regularly to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Advise customers on parts selection, availability, and pricing
- Promote and sell a wide range of parts and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Prepare and submit quotes, process orders, and track deliveries
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the parts department to ensure availability of high-demand products
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product knowledge
- Attend sales meetings, trade shows, and training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Journeyperson Certificate in Parts preferred
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the truck or parts industry
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
- Proficient in using sales software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift and carry parts and supplies as needed
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory
